Home Remedies for Yeast Infection

Just as fungus lives on the bark and wood of dead trees, so certain types of fungi may also live on the surface of our skin, especially in the moist areas of our body. Yoghurt is a special and most useful thing that can be used for yeast infection. Women suffering from yeast infection should apply yoghurt in to the vagina as it helps to balance the acid base balance in the vagina.

Hot bath also helps to relieve signs and symptoms associated with yeast infection.

Take some tea tree oil and dilute it. Put some drops of diluted oil on a tampon and insert it inside the vagina. It greatly helps to reduce signs and symptoms of yeast infection.

Take garlic juice; add vitamin E oil and few drops of coconut oil in it. Apply this mixture on the body part affected with yeast other then vagina. Do not apply it on vagina as it may aggravate irritation.

Take few drops of coconut oil and mix it with few drops of cinnamon oil. Apply this mixture of oils on the affected area. It gives a soothing effect to the affected area.
