Home remedies for Gastritis

Gastritis is the inflammation of the stomach lining which may be an added symptom to some other stomach ailment. Gastritis itself is not a disease, it is only a symptom. There is severe pain in the stomach which may be accompanied by vomiting, diarrhea and heartburn.

Acute gastritis may occur due to excessive intake of pain killers or any other medication which may suffice on its own after stopping the medication.   • Yoghurt is also a good remedy for stomach infections. Yoghurt helps to balance the acid base balance as well as necessary microbes in the stomach to bring back it to normal functioning.
